Short Bio
Özgür Özdamar is an Associate Professor of IR at Bilkent University, Turkey, and a visiting scholar at School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University. His research focuses on foreign policy analysis, leadership studies, forecasting and IR theories. His articles have been published in journals such as Political Research Quarterly, Terrorism and Political Violence, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Studies Review, Social Science Quarterly, Middle East Policy and Journal of Southeast European and Black Sea Studies. He currently serves as editor of All Azimuth: Journal of Foreign Policy and Peace and is director of research at the Center for Foreign Policy and Peace Studies. His last co-authored book, Role Theory in the MENA: Politics, Economics and Identity, will be published by Routledge in 2019.
